REVIEW | MAYBELLINE SUPERSTAY 24HR CONCEALER

This is a concealer that I bought ages ago and I'm still working my way through them. At first I was wowed by it, with my lack of experience with concealers. Looking at it now, yes it was still better than the ones I used before, but it's horrible to use. The coverage is pretty good, but it's really hard to work with.

I've tried blending with my fingers and with brushes, however it just never seems to sit right. I have to mix the light with a medium to try and get my skin colour at the moment, but when I'm trying to use it in places such as under the eyes it just keeps moving when I'm trying to dab it out, leaving it very patchy, and then trying to cover up the patches with more product it just seems to come off even more wit my finger. Any way that I seem to try and apply it seems to leave it cakey and patchy, which is not really a great look. Using a primer underneath doesn't seem to make a difference either. It's not great for using over spots either, I seem to have the same problem with that it just doesn't seem to really stick in place. Additionally it goes really funny if you put it over dry patches, and it kind of just goes a bit flakey.

Bottom Line
Would I buy this again? No, I think I've had enough of this product now.
Would I recommend to a friend? Probably not, the coverage is quite good when it sticks, but there's better products out there.
