REVIEW | ALPRO'S ALMOND MILK

Being lactose intolerant I've experimented for years trying to find an alternative to milk for things such as cereal and milkshakes. I used to have soya milk, which I was having on a regular basis for about 3 years until I started having problems with it, mainly water retention and sore breasts - not really what you want from a milk. Soya milk is a bit of a controversial milk due to the hormones that it naturally contains.
After I stopped having soya milk I went on to having oat milk. I found this alright, it didn't taste great though so I always found myself adding loads of sugar to everything, which isn't really good. Additionally, it doesn't naturally contain any vitamins, so they are also fortified with them. So still wasn't really great.
However, recently Alpro have brought Almond milk into the spotlight, and into most supermarkets. Alpro are great for lactose free products! They always did soya milkshakes which I always loved, as well as things like deserts.
I am absolutely loving the Alpro Almond milk at the moment. Not only does it naturally contain loads of great stuff for you like all the vitamins and calcium that you need, but it doesn't taste too bad either. Additionally, if you're someone who is watching their weight then this milk is great as it is so low in calories.
I really hope that Alpro expands this range. I have also noticed that they make a hazelnut milk, which I think I will also have to try. This milk is great for people which sensitive stomachs too.
Bottom lineWould I buy it again? Absolutely! And I already have.Would I recommend to a friend?Yes!Big thumbs up for Alpro's Almond Milk
